    Bill of Sale to
John Glenn
 Know all men by these presents.  That we
Elizabeth L Key and Frances F Key late of
Charles County in the state of maryland but
now of Howard County in the state aforesaid
being now indebted to John Glenn of Baltimore
                                City in the state aforesaid in the sum of thirteen hundred
                                and twenty six dollars and fifty cents ($1326.50/100) with
                                interest from the twenty second day of June 1859 for personal property
                                purchased from him on the 22nd day of June last at
                                Public Sale on the farm in Howard County lately sold by said
                                Glenn to Edward Lloyd and John S Giddings Trustees for said
                                Mrs E L Key said property consisting of mules wagons Harness
                                cattle Farming and Dairy implements generally and other utensils
                                in consideration thereof do hereby bargain and sell to the said
                                John Glenn all the personal property of every description consisting
                                of the property aforesaid purchased of said Glenn
                                and still remaining upon said farm and also of sundry Horses
                                Harness Farm implements tools and Household furniture of
                                every description since placed upon said farm this description
                                being meant to include all personal property of every
                                description now upon said farm belonging to said E L Key
                                and F S Key shall pay to the said John Glenn the sum
                                of thirteen hundred and twenty six dollars and fifty cents
                                ($1326 50/100) with the interest thereon on or before the first day
                                of July 1860 then these presents shall be void.  And provided
                                that in default of payment the said John Glenn may take
                                at public sale on such terms and times as he may deem
                                proper after first giving a notice of such sale of at least
                                fifteen days in one or more public newspapers for the purpose
                                of paying the aforesaid debt with interest thereon and
                                all customary expenses of such sale witness our hands and
                                seals this fifth day of July 1859

                                I hereby certify that on this fifth day of July 1859 before me
                                a Justice of the Peace in and for the city and state aforesaid
                                personally appeared Mrs Elizabeth L Keys and Francis S
                                Key and did each acknowledge the above instrument
                                to be their act and deed.  And at the same
                                time also appeared before me John glenn and the
                                mortgagee in said mortgage named and made oath
                                that the consideration set forth in said mortgage is
