set forth in the above Bill of Sale is Bona fide and true as therein

I James E Cassidy of Howard County
and state of Maryland in consideration
of the sum of Two hundred dollars
and eighty seven Dollars paid me by
Samuel Cassidy of Washington City in the District of Columbia
do hereby bargain and sell to the said Samuel Cassidy
the following property to wit:  two parlour stoves, two Cooking
Stoves, and one slue stove, two dining and two parlour and
two Kitchen tables; six bedsteads and bedding, three looking
Glasses, one Sofa, one side board, and two Bureaus; two
wash stands, one dozen and a half chairs, one lot Glass
and Queens ware, a small collection of books, two camphure
and four Ethereal Lamps, six metal waiters, one lot of Kitchen
furniture and cooking utensils one dozen tea and two dozen
table spoons, four dozen knives and forks, one set of stair rods
one eight day clock, two cupboards and one sofa, tog hogs,
together Bar, Bar furniture and fixtures such as glasses
decanters, bottles, and whatever thereunto pertains, one lot
of liquors, whiskeys, Brandies, wines and ales and one one
horse buggy and sewing machine and one lot of Carpeting
Witness my hand and seal this twentieth day of May
Eighteen hundred and fifty nine
