the said Ann Hunt the said Chloe Ann Dent and the
said two infant children one being named Richard Dent
and being about two and a half years old and the other named
Mary Elizabeth Dent and being about one month old the
said children being slaves for life and the said Chloe Ann
Dent being a slave for the term of thirteen years from the
first day of March Eighteen hundred and fifty eight and
no longer and the said Thomas Donaldson being entitled
to said slave child Ann Dent for the for the whole of said term in
the manner particularly set forth in the premises

       I hereby certify that on this seventeenth day of April
in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight
before me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the
State of Maryland in and for said Howard County
personally appeared Thomas Donaldson the Trustee named
in the aforegoing bill of sale and acknowledged said bill
of sale to be his act

       I hereby certify that on this Seventeenth day of April
in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty
eight before me the Subscriber a Justice of the Peace of
the State of Maryland in and for said Howard County
personally appeared Ann Hunt the purchaser named
in the aforegoing bill of sale and acknowledged the
said bill of sale to be her act and at the same time the
said Ann Hunt made Oath in due form of law that the
consideration in said Bill of Sale was true and bona
fide as therein set forth
