Martin (seal) State of Maryland Howard County to wit: I hereby certify that on this 24th day of March 1858 personally appeared before me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace for Howard County aforesaid George J Martin Physician of Howard County State of Maryland and acknowledged the foregoing Bill of Sale to be his act and at the same time personally appeared Robert Kirkwood Martin and made oath in due form of law that the consideration mentioned in the above bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth Acknowledged & Sworn before W.m A.
