the sum of two dollars and fifty cents per month duig the term
of apprenticeship of said Isaiah Turner and also to teach or
instruct the said apprentice or cause him to be ^taught and^ instructed
in the art trade or calling of a farmer by the best way and
means he can and shall well and faithfully find and
provide for said apprentice good and sufficient meat
drink clothing lodging and other necessaries fit and convenient
for such an apprentice during the term aforesaid and at
the expiration thereof shall give unto the said apprentice
two suits of wearing apparel one suitable for sundays and
the other for working days         In testimony whereof the
said Milly Turner & Conrad Hazleman have hereunto interchangeably
set their hands & seals the day & year first above
written

Nancy Stevins
    I Lucy Knock of Howard County
a consideration of various services
rendered me for many years past by
Nancy Stevins of said County and
also in Consideration of one dollar
paid me by said Nancy Stevins do bargain and sell to the
said Nancy Stevins one Bureau, four Bedsteads, Beds and
Bedding, twelve Chairs, two Tables, one Chest, one Cupboard
and all my Cupboard ware, one Clock all my Towels and
Table cloths, all my Kitchen furniture and Cooking utensils,
thirty Chickens and one lot of Flax; reserving to myself
however the use of the said articles of r& during my natural
life                  Witness my hand and seal this 11.th day of
February Eighteen hundred and fifty seven

fifty seven before me a Justice of the Peace in and for said
