glass; one black & white spotted Cow; and half a dozen cane
bottom chairs; all being in my possession; and I hereby covenant
that the said Caroline Warfield may at any time enter upon
my premises seize take and carry away the said property or
any part thereof without any hindrance or interruption by me
or any other person claiming by from or under me

 I William Stevins of Howard
County in consideration of forty
dollars paid me by Thomas Lucy
of the said County do hereby bargain
and sell to the said Thomas Lucy
the following property to wit:  one Bay Horse now in my
possession; and I hereby covenant that the said Thomas
Lucy his agent or assigns may at any time hereafter
seize take and carry away the said horse without any
hindrance or interruption by me or any other person claiming
by from or under me                     Witness my hand and seal
this thirteenth day of December Eighteen hundred and fifty six
