P.) state of Maryland anne arundel county sct I hereby certify that Nathaniel Chew Esq before whom the annexed affidavit was Made and who has thereto subscribed his name was at the time of so doing a justice of the Peace of the said state in & for the said county duly commissioned & sworn (seals) In testimony whereof I hereto set (Place) my hand and affix the seal of the circuit court for anne arundel county this 9.th day of January A. D. 1856 N. H. Green clk F.d 11.th march 1856 to be recorded same day recorded & examined per W. H. Worthington clk
of fourteen hundred and nineteen dollars current money to me in hand paid by Ann Iglehart of county and state aforesaid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Richard Iglehart do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Ann Iglehart her executors adminastrators and assigns all the goods chattles and implements thus herein after expressed or particularly Mentioned that is to say done Negro Woman Ann aged eighteen years one Negro boy aged three years, four Horses, one yoke of oxen six hed of cattle, eighteen hogs thirteen sheep, two Colts, and all my farming utentials all & singular which said goods and chattles are now by me |
