intended so to be to the said J. Howard Talbott
his executors administrators and assigns forever
and I the said Charles Talbott for myself
my heirs executors and administrators all
and singular the said stock and goods and
other the premises unto the said J. Howard
Talbott his executors administrators and
assigns against me the said charles Talbott
my executors and administrators and against
all and every other person or persons whatsoever
shall and will warrant and forever
defend by these presents of all and singular
which said stock and goods and other the
premises I the said Charles Talbott have
put the said J. Howard Talbott in full
possession by delivering to him the said
J. Howard Talbott one spotted mule called Poll
at the sealing and delivery of these presents
in the name of the whole premises
hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and
intended so to be unto him the said J.
Howard Talbott as aforesaid.  In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and
seal this fifth day of march in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
fifty six
signed sealed and delivered
       in presence of              Charles Talbott   (seal)

    Be it remembered and it is hereby certified
that on this fifth day of March in the year
of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifty six
before the subscriber a justice of the state of
Maryland in and for Howard county personally
appears Charles Talbott he being known
to me to be the person who is Named and
described as and professing to be the grantor
in the foregoing deed or Indenture and doth
acknowledge the said Indenture or instrument
of writing to be his act and deed. In
testimony whereof I hereunto subscribe
my name on the day and year
aforesaid
