114 Wesley Linthicum seth W. Warfield Thomas J. White and samuel R. Powell of Howard county and state of Maryland and Tristram S. Dorsey of anne arundel county and state aforesaid of the one part and William H. Worthington of Howard county and state aforesaid of the other part. Whereas the said William H. Worthington by his Indenture of Mortgage bearing date on or about the day of in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty duly executed acknowledged and recorded in Liber E. P. H. N.o 2 folio 291 &c one of the chattel record books for Howard District (now Howard county) aforesaid did for and in consideration of the premises therein mentioned grant bargain and sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said Wesley Linthicum set W. Warfield Thomas J white samuel R. Powell and Tristram s. Dorsey their heirs and assigns the following personal property To wit one negro woman Henny aged about thirty years one Negro Woman Caroline aged about twenty five years one negro girl susan aged about sixteen years one negro girl Anney aged about sixteen years one Negro Boy Gustavus aged about fourteen years one Negro Boy Charles about twelve years old one negro girl Charlotte aged about eight years one negro Boy Richard aged about four years one Negro girl Martha aged about three years one Negro Boy John one year old together with all his house hold furniture of whatsoever kind or Nature it may be. And whereas the said parties of the first part did become the securitys of the party of the second part on his bonds to the state of maryland as clerk of Howard District of anne arundel county |
