construction, and equipping of patient care and support facilities,
and replacement facilities for University of Maryland at Baltimore
functions to be displaced by new hospital construction...................           10,000,000

37.01.23                  HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS

(A)    Historic St. Mary's City. Prepare detailed plans, construct museum
and park improvements, and conduct preconstruction
archaeological mitigation and surveys (St. Mary's County),
provided that this appropriation may not be expended until:

(1)    The department submits the final Master Plan Update;

(2)    The Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning has approved
the program plan;

(3)    The department submits a report of specific construction
projects with detailed cost estimates prepared for each item listed;
and

(4)    The budget committees have received and commented upon
the report, or 45 days have elapsed from the date the report is

received by the committees................................................................               850,000

(B)    Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum. Construct Museum Service

Center (Calvert County).....................................................................            3,200,000

(C)    Maryland Historical Trust. Provide funds to be credited to the
Capital Grant Fund for historical preservation. The funds
appropriated for this purpose shall be administered in accordance

with Article 83B, Section 5-613 (Statewide)....................................               325,000
