Further provided that the State portion credited to the Advanced
Option and Purchase Fund and the Bay Access Fund may not be
expended until the department notifies the budget committees in
writing of the intended use of the funds and the committees review
and comment on the intended use or 45 days elapse from the date
the committees receive the written notification of the intended use
of the funds.

30.01.03                                 BOATING ADMINISTRATION

(A) Waterway Improvement Fund. Provide funds for waterway
improvement projects including dredging operations, sediment
removal, structural and non-structural improvements, stream and
river bank reconstruction, revegetation, erosion control, and the
acquisition of property and necessary capital equipment, subject to
the requirement that the grantee provide an equal and matching
fund for this purpose and expend the matching fund prior to the
