Edward Rumbly Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following Bill of √ from Sale was received and recorded on the 16th day of March 1857 to wit: Washington Rumbly I Washington Rumbly of Dorchester County in Consideration of ninety one Dollars and seventy one Cents paid me by Edward Rumbly of Dorchester County do hereby bargain and sell to the said Edward Rumbly the following property Viz two sows and six shoats one yoke of young steers one Cow and six head sheep. Thompson of Dorchester County in Consideration of Five Hundred Dollars paid me by Sarah Catharine Hadaway my daughter wife of Thomas S Hadaway of Talbot County do hereby bargain and sell to the said Sarah Catharine Hadaway the following described negroes for the term of years hereunto affixed to wit: negro John Henry Ross aged seven years January 1 1857. Negro Moses Ross aged four years same date negro Mary Ross aged 25 years at same date Kitty Ross aged three years at same date and Infant of Mary Ross born January 1 1857 all of them to be free at the age of thirty years. Tyler of Dorchester County Maryland in the sum of Five Hundred and seventy five Dollars with interest from the 23d day of March 1857 in Consideration thereof do hereby bargain and sell to the said David W.
