22 presents doth grant, bargain and Sell unto the said George W. Brooks; his Executors, administrators, and assigns all the goods, household Stuff implements and furniture; particular mentioned and expressed To wit One Bay mare, one Cow, one Sow and Eight pigs, Four Shoats; and Two thirds of the crop of Corn and fodder on the ground; all and Singular which said goods and Chattels are now remaining in and upon a Certain Tenement, situate near Parsons Creek and now in the occupancy of the aforesaid Garetson Bright. To Have and To Hold all and Singular, the said goods household Stuff and furniture, and other the premises; above bargained and sold, or mentioned and so intended to be, to the said George W. Brooks, his Executors, administrators and assigns forever; and I the said Garetson Bright for myself, my heirs, my Executors and administrators all and Singular, the said goods and household stuff and furniture; and other the premises, unto the said George W. Brooks, his Executors and administrators and assigns, against me the said Garetson Bright my Executors and administrators; against all and every other person or persons whatsoever; shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents; of all and singular; which said goods and household stuff and furniture; and other the premises I the said Garetson Bright hereby put the affsd G. W. Brooks in full possession, at the sealing and delivery of these presents, in the name of the whole premises, hereby bargained and sold, or mentioned or intended to be so, unto the said George W. Brooks as aforesaid. I witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal on this the first day of October 1852 his Test S. Brooks and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that the above bill of sale is a true and bona fide Bill of Sale and the Conditions therein mentioned is Just and true as set forth in said paper Sworn before James Craig J. P. Wm V. M. Edmondson Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the following mortgage Exd from Bill of Sale was received and recorded on the 11th day of October 1852 to wit: Cyrus Henry Know all men by these presents that I Cyrus Henry of Dorchester County and State of Maryland for and in Consideration of the sum of fifty three dollars and Eighty five Cents, now due to W. V. M. Edmondson of the County and State aforesaid for the better securing of which said sum to the said Edmundson I the said Cyrus Henry have this day and by these presents do Mortgage and Bill of Sale to the said W. V. M. Edmondson his heirs, or assigns all of the following property to wit viz; all my interest in the Crop of Corn now on the premises at present in my occupancy also all the Blade and top fodder one Horse, one Horse Cart Two head of Cattle thirteen Hogs together with my household furniture I the said Cyrus Henry for myself, my heirs executors and administrators, all and Singular the said goods, grain, provender, wares &c unto the said W. V. M. Edmondson his heirs and assigns do hereby forever warrant and defend In witness hereof the said Cyrus Henry has hereunto affixed his hand and seal this 27th September 1852 Test his O. P.
