Keene obligors in the Said bond sign seal and deliver the said Bond as their respective act and deed and that they the Said James Higgins & John Muir did subscribe their names as witnesses thereto Sworn before W.m D. Barrow J. P. By the County Commissioners Dorchester County June 26th 1855 This Bond appointed by order Test William Rea clerk C. D. C. State of Maryland Be it remembered and it is hereby Certified that the √ from xd following Bond was received and recorded on the William Creighton 14th day of August in the year of our Lord One Treasurer of P. Schools Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty five, to wit: (Stamp) ( six ) Know all men by these presents that we (Dollars) W.m Creighton William Rea and John R. Creighton Dorchester County in the State of Maryland are held and bound unto the State of Maryland in the full and Just Sum of Fifteen thousand dollars Current money of the united States to be paid to the State of Maryland which payment well and truly to be made and done we bind ourselves and every of us ours and every of our heirs executors and administrators in the whole and for the whole Jointly and Severally by these presents sealed with our Seals and dated this June in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and fifty five The Condition of the above obligation and Such that if the above bounden William Creighton shall well and truly discharge the duties of Treasurer of Primary Schools of Dorchester County according to Law ^he^ the above obligation Shall be void otherwise it is to be and remain in full force and virtue in Law signed in presence of William Creighton (seal) James Higgins W.m Rea (seal) John R.
