(Senate Bill 720)
AN ACT concerning
Joint Committee on Unemployment Insurance Oversight
FOR the purpose of reestablishing the Joint Committee on Unemployment Insurance
Oversight; establishing the membership and staffing of the Committee;
requiring the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Delegates
to designate the cochairs of the Committee; requiring the Committee to examine
certain issues; authorizing the Committee to examine certain issues; requiring
the Committee to issue a certain report by a certain date; prohibiting a member
of the Committee from receiving certain compensation, but authorizing a
member of the Committee to receive certain reimbursements; providing for the
termination of this Act; and generally relating to the reestablishment of the
Joint Committee on Unemployment Insurance Oversight.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - State Government
2-10A-11.
(a) There is a Joint Committee on Unemployment Insurance
Oversight.
(b) The Committee consists of the following 15 members:
(1) three members of the senate, appointed by the
President of the Senate;
(2) three members of the House of Delegates, appointed
by the Speaker of the House of Delegates;
