(iii) Any other money from any other source
accepted for the benefit of the fund.
(2) The Governor shall include $25,000 in the State
budget each fiscal year for the fund.
(e) Beginning in fiscal year 2009 and annually thereafter,
the Governor shall include in the annual budget $25.000 for the
program.
(g) (1) The Fund may be used only to provide matching
grants to county boards to implement a "share the state fair!"
(2) (F) (1) In any fiscal year, a county board may not
receive aggregate grants in excess of $1,000 from the fund under
the Program.
(3) (2) a grant may be used only to pay the costs for
transportation and refreshments for students participating in the
"share the state fair!" program program.
(h) (g) The State Superintendent shall:
(1) Evaluate evaluate and make recommendations to the
State Board regarding applications for a grant under this section;
and
(2) On or before December l each year, issue a report on
the status of the program to the governor and, in accordance with
§2-1246 of the state government article, to the general assembly.
(i) (h) the State Board shall adopt regulations to implement
this section.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2007.
