It is hereby certified that at the election Chapter 190 received 41,053 votes cast for the
adoption and 21,823 votes cast against the adoption. Therefore, Chapter 190 has been

Pursuant to the provisions of Election Law Article, Section 11, Annotated Code of
Maryland, and the Code of Maryland Regulations, COMAR 33.08,1, Linda H. Lamone,
Administrator of the State Board of Elections, hereby certify that at the November 7,
2006, General Election Chapter 313 of the Acts of the 2006 Maryland General Assembly
was submitted to the voters of Queen Anne's County as follows: Question A
Referendum by General Assembly
Selection of Board of Education Members The members of the school board are currently appointed. The proposal would amend the
Education Article to provide for an elected board of five voting nonpartisan members.
Please indicate whether you prefer the current appointment method or the proposed
election method. It is hereby certified that at the election Chapter 313 received 13,945 votes cast for the
adoption and 2,539 votes cast against the adoption. Therefore, Chapter 313 has been
