Municipal Charters 2007 Laws of Maryland
HYATTSVILLE (Prince George's County) Resolution No. 2006-03 A Resolution of the City Council of Hyattsville, Maryland enlarging the corporate
boundaries of the City of Hyattsville by annexing land contiguous to and adjoining the
existing corporate area of the City of Hyattsville, to wit, portions of the University Hills
subdivision, including the area south of a line running east from Northwest Branch
Stream along University Boulevard then south along the west property line of Graduate
Hills and east again along Stanford Street to Adelphi Road, and including St. Marks
Church, the cul-de-sac of Pony Trail Court, the Marrien Blumberg property, and all that
area directly west of University Hills and the above properties, to the streambed of the
Northwest Branch. (166.2468 acres of land, more or less) [Pursuant to Section Cl-1 of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville, Prince
George's County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of
Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2005 Supplement). Effective Date July 6, 2006]
Charter Amendment Resolution No. 2006-04 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HYATTSVILLE, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended), to amend the Charter of the said City, said Charter
being a part of the public local laws of Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended), which
Article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the City of Hyattsville, Maryland,
whereby the Mayor and City Council clarify that the City Treasurer shall serve at the
pleasure of the City Council unless other written terms are agreed to by the City. [Section C5-1 of the Charter of the City of Hyattsville, Prince George's County, as
found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 2005 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with amendments. Effective Date July 27, 2006]
