2007 Deficiency Appropriation
OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY
P00A01.01 Executive Direction
To become available immediately upon
passage of this budget to supplement the
appropriation for fiscal year 2007 to
provide funds to cover the revenue
shortfall of several federally funded
programs throughout the Department.
The majority of the funds are needed to
cover the costs for the Unemployment
Insurance ($10.0 million), Benefit Appeals
and Workforce Development Programs
($1.4 million). Funding will be transferred
by budget amendment to other programs
and the department will cancel the federal
funds at year-end.

P00C01.02 Financial Regulation
To become available immediately upon
passage of this budget to supplement the
appropriation for fiscal year 2007 to
provide funds to cover the costs for
contractual employees and equipment
required to process license applications
for over 12,000 mortgage originators/loan
officers.
