R00A01.04 Division of Accountability and
Assessment
General Fund Appropriation, provided that
$250,000 of this appropriation may not be
expended until the Maryland State
Department of Education submits a
report by September 15, 2007, to the
budget, committees on the amount of
funds encumbered at the close of fiscal
2007 in the accountability and assessment
program. The report shall itemize the
amounts encumbered, identify the
contracts against which the amounts are
encumbered, and specify the fiscal year of
the funding. The budget committees shall
have 45 days to review and comment on
the report.
Further provided that $50,000 of this
appropriation may only be expended as a
