(2) Except for an individual who is designated as management
personnel or a confidential employee under this subtitle, each public school employee
is eligible for membership in one of the negotiating units.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2007.

AN ACT concerning
Task Force to Study State Assistance to Veterans
FOR the purpose of altering the process for the appointment of certain members of the
Task Force to Study State Assistance to Veterans: extending the date by which
the members of the Task Force to Study State Assistance to Veterans must be
appointed; extending the dates by which the Task Force must report its interim
and final findings and recommendations to certain officials; extending the
termination date of the Task Force; clarifying language; and generally relating
to the Task Force to Study State Assistance to Veterans.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 290 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2006

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

(a) There is a Task Force to Study State Assistance to Veterans.
