SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall apply to all
premium finance agreements and contracts issued, delivered, or renewed on or after
the effective date of this Act.
SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning
Worcester County - Liquor Control Board - Salaries
FOR the purpose of altering the salaries of the members of the Worcester County
Liquor Control Board; providing that a member of the Board is entitled to a
mileage fee when performing official duties as a member of the Board; providing
that this Act does not apply to the salary or compensation of the incumbent
members of the Board; and generally relating to the Worcester County Liquor
Control Board.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
15-201.
(h) (7) [The] EACH MEMBER OF THE Worcester County Liquor Control
Board shall receive [the] AN ANNUAL salary set by the Worcester County
Commissioners, but which may not be less than [$2,500] $3,000, and a mileage fee
when attending meetings of the Board AND WHEN PERFORMING THEIR OTHER
OFFICIAL DUTIES AS MEMBERS A MEMBER OF THE BOARD.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III,
§ 35 of the Maryland Constitution, this Act may not be construed to extend or apply to
the salary or compensation of the regular members or the chairman of the Liquor
Control Board of Worcester County in office on the effective date of this Act, but the
provisions of this Act concerning the salary or compensation of the regular members
and the chairman of the Liquor Control Board of Worcester County shall take effect at
the beginning of the next following term of office.
