TITLE 18. RIGHT TO FARM.
237. 18-101.
(A) SUBJECT TO SUBSECTION (B) OF THIS SECTION, THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY MAY ADOPT AN ORDINANCE, RESOLUTION, OR
REGULATION OR TAKE ANY OTHER ACTION THAT THE COUNTY COUNCIL CONSIDERS
NECESSARY TO PROTECT A PERSON'S RIGHT TO FARM OR ENGAGE IN AGRICULTURAL
OR FORESTRY OPERATIONS.
(B) BEFORE ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE, RESOLUTION, OR REGULATION OR
TAKING OTHER ACTION UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION, THE COUNTY
COUNCIL SHALL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING AND PROVIDE REASONABLE NOTICE OF
THE HEARING.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning
Anne Arundel County - Right to Farm
FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Council of Anne Arundel County to adopt
an ordinance, resolution, or regulation or take other action that the County
Council considers necessary to protect a person's right to farm or engage in
agricultural or forestry operations; requiring the County Council to hold a public
hearing and provide reasonable notice of the hearing before adopting a certain
ordinance, resolution, or regulation or taking other action under certain
circumstances; and generally relating to the authority of the County Council of
Anne Arundel County to protect a person's right to farm.

Section 237 18-101 to be under the new title "Title 18. Right to Farm"
