AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County Code, 1998 - Twenty-Sixth Enactment

FOR the purpose of enacting the Baltimore County Code, 1998 and adding one article
to the Baltimore County Code, to be designated and known as "Article 25. Cable
Communications"; to renumber and recodify the laws of the County relating and
pertaining to cable communications; providing for the construction and
application of this Act; clarifying when certain evidence of insurance is due;
providing for the continuity of terms of certain officials, the status of certain
transactions and employees, rights, titles, and interests, licenses, registrations,
certifications, and permits; providing for a contingent effective date of this Act;
and generally relating to the laws of the County.

By repealing

Sections 8-1, 8-2, 8-3, 8-4, 8-5, 8-6, 8-7, 8-8, 8-9, 8-10, 8-11, 8-12, 8-13,
8-14, 8-15, 8-16, 8-17, 8-18, 8-19, 8-20, 8-21, 8-22, 8-23, 8-24, 8-25,
8-26, 8-27, 8-28, 8-29, 8-30, and 8-56

AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County Code, 1998 - Twenty-Seventh Enactment

FOR the purpose of enacting the Baltimore County Code, 1998 and adding one article
to the Baltimore County Code, to be designated and known as "Article 5.
Pensions and retirement" revising, restating, and recodifying the laws of the
County relating and pertaining pensions and retirement and deferred
compensation; conforming a certain section with a certain decision of the board
of trustees; authorizing the board of trustees to make a certain determination
with regard to death benefits; requiring the board of trustees to adopt a certain
actuarial cost method; requiring the actuary to take the actuarial cost method
into account; amending certain sections, without making substantive changes to
the operations of the retirement system to comply with certain federal laws;
altering certain provisions regarding the liquidation of a certain special accrued
