COUNTY LOCAL LAWS
of development; establishing the scope of the Ordinance; defining certain terms;
requiring that a subdivision be served by public schools with adequate capacity
for additional students; providing for preparation by the Board of Education of a
School Utilization Chart; specifying the contents of that Chart; describing the
projected enrollments and school capacities used to determine if schools are
"open" or "closed"; providing for calculation of future capacity and for exclusion
of capacity based on temporary or relocatable structures; specifying when the
determination of school adequacy takes place; providing for the manner of
determining school adequacy by the Office of Planning and Zoning; providing for
use of an interim standard; providing for the contents and duration of an
approval of school adequacy; providing for establishment of a waiting list;
providing for a maximum amount of time a subdivision must remain on the
waiting list and for the termination of this provision; restricting conveyance of
an approval for the adequacy of public facilities for schools; requiring certain
reports; providing for certain transitional requirements; providing for approval
by the County Council of the first School Utilization Chart; including use of the
waiting list in effect prior to this Ordinance; providing for the applicability of
this Ordinance and for the termination of a certain provision of this Ordinance;
repealing inconsistent provisions applicable to mixed use developments; and
generally relating to the adequacy of public facilities for schools.

AN ORDINANCE concerning:
Park Place Development District
FOR the purpose of extending the termination date established by Bill No. 62-02 for
certain authority conferred by Bill No. 56-01 and for certain obligations of the
County under a Contribution Agreement authorized by Bill No. 56-01.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments:
Bill No. 56-01, Section 9, Laws of Anne Arundel County 2001, as amended by
Bill No. 62-02, Section 1, Laws of Anne Arundel County 2002
