RESOLUTION NO. 2002 - 1

A RESOLUTION OF THE PRESIDENT AND COMMISSIONERS OF PRINCES
ANNE TO AMEND § 202 "ANNEXATIONS" OF THE CHARTER OF PRINCESS

ANNE

WHEREAS, the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne desire to amend
their Charter to add additional land subject to the Town of Princess Anne Code and
Charter; and

WHEREAS, the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne desire that the
land owned by the Board of Education, namely Princess Anne Primary and
Greenwood Middle School (collectively hereinafter referred to as the "Schools") be
annexed into the boundaries of the Town and be designated as R-2 Residential
district for Princess Anne Primary and C-2 General Commercial for Greenwood
Middle School.

[Section 202 T. and V. of the Charter of the Town of Princess Anne, Somerset
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2003 Supplement), added.

Effective Date May 23, 2002]

ANNE TO AMEND § 202 "ANNEXATIONS" OF THE CHARTER OF PRINCESS

ANNE

WHEREAS, the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne desire to amend
their Charter to add additional land subject to the Town of Princess Anne Code and
Charter; and

WHEREAS, the President and Commissioners of Princess Anne desire that the
land owned by the State of Maryland, namely the portion of U.S. Route 13 from
UMES Boulevard in the North to Stewart Neck Road in the South to be annexed into
the boundaries of the Town.
