Charter Amendment Resolution CA-1-03

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
CHEVERLY, MARYLAND, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition, as amended), to amend the Charter of the said Town, said
Charter being a part of the public local laws of Maryland (1963 Edition, as amended),
which Article contains in whole or in part the Charter of the Town of Cheverly,
Maryland, whereby the Mayor and Town Council clarify the language of the Charter
as to nonbonding questions on the ballot of Town elections.

[Section C-14.1 of the Charter of the Town of Cheverly, Prince George's County,
as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters
(1990 Replacement Edition and 2003 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

COLLEGE PARK BY ANNEXING LAND CONTIGUOUS AND ADJOINING THE

EXISTING CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE PARK CONSISTING

OF 1.3976 ACRES, MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS LOTS 22, 23, BLOCK 1 AND

PART OF LOT 2, BLOCK 1 IN THE ACREDALE SUBDIVISION AND A PORTION

OF METZEROTT ROAD.
