AN ACT to repeal and reenact with amendments Sections 1.7,, Definitions; 2.2,
Reemployment; 3.4, Special Rules for Service Credit; 4.4, Pick-Up Contributions; 5.1,
Normal Retirement; 5.3, Deferred Retirement; 5.4, Disability Benefits; 5.5, Other
Terminations of Employment; 5.6, Maximum Limitation on Benefits; 5.8, Death
Benefits; 6.1, Methods of Payment; and 6.2, Optional Forms of Benefit, as
incorporated by reference in Chapter 29, Harford County Sheriffs Office Pension, of
Part 1, Administrative Legislation, of the Harford County Code, as amended; to
provide for the adoption by reference of the Sheriffs Office Pension Plan as amended
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference in its entirety and to
further provide that the Sheriffs Office Pension Plan as amended is made a part
hereof as though fully stated herein, and generally relating to the establishment of a
pension plan for certain law enforcement and correctional employees of the Sheriffs
Office.
