A RESOLUTION concerning
CHARTER AMENDMENT - REVISIONS TO SECTION 308 ORDINANCES
For the purpose of repealing Section 308 Ordinances of the Charter of the Town
of North East in adopting a revised Section 308 Ordinances of the Charter for the
Municipal Corporation known as the Town of North East; for the purpose of revising
said section to comply with the newly enacted provisions of the Annotated Code of
Maryland.
[Section 308 of the Charter of the Town of North East, Cecil County, as found in
the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF THE TOWN COMMISSIONERS TO AMEND
ARTICLE II OF THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF NORTH EAST TO EXTEND
THE CORPORATE BOUNDARIES AND TO DESIGNATE THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATIONS OF THE LAND BEING ANNEXED
A Resolution of the Board of Town commissioners, adopted pursuant to the
authority of Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland, Section 19 of Article 23A of
the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957 (1998 Replacement Volume), entitled
"Corporation - Municipal", subheading "Annexation", to enlarge the corporate
boundaries of the Town of North East by amending the code of Cecil County,
Maryland, Part 2, Chapter 28, which incorporated the Charter of the Town of North
East and constituting an amendment to the municipal charter of the body politic and
corporate known as the Town of North East, annexing to said corporate boundaries
the following area, contiguous to and adjoining the present corporate boundaries of
the Town of North East, on the southerly side of U.S. Route 40, being the land owned
by Stoney Creek Land Company, LLC, a Maryland Limited Liability Company
(4.4049 acres of land, more or less).

as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters
(1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement).
