Charter Amendment Resolution No. 01-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF MOUNTAIN
LAKE PARK adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the Constitution of
Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to amend
the Charter of the Mayor and Town Council of Mountain Lake Park (as published in
Code of Public Local Laws of Garrett County, 1971) by repealing and reenacting, with
amendments, Section 26-6 of the Charter, allowing the Town of Mountain Lake Park
to have the advantages of State law regarding open meetings and removing
ambiguous language dealing with public meetings.
[Section 26-6 of the Charter of the Town of Mountain Lake Park, Garrett
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments.
