HURLOCK
[Section 606 of Article II of the Charter of the Town of Hurlock, Dorchester
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments. Effective Date August 7, 2001]
Charter Amendment No. 2001-5 RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Hurlock, Maryland,
adopted by the authority of Article HE of the Constitution of the State of Maryland
and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition, as
amended) entitled, "CORPORATIONS MUNICIPAL" to amend the Charter of the
Town of Hurlock, Maryland, (1976 Edition) by repealing and reenacting Article IV,
Section 611 (b) of the Charter of the Town of Hurlock, Maryland (1976 Edition). [Section 611 (b) of Article IV of the Charter of the Town of Hurlock, Dorchester
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments. Effective Date August 7, 2001]
Charter Amendment No. 2001-6 RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Hurlock, Maryland,
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article HE of the Constitution of the State of
Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition, as amended) entitled, "CORPORATIONS MUNICIPAL" to amend the
Charter of the Town of Hurlock, Maryland, by repealing and reenacting Article III,
Section 301 of the Charter of the Town of Hurlock, Maryland, (1976 Edition), by the
creation of Councilmanic District No. 5, its Council member to run for election and
serve as an at-large member of said Council; and to adjust the area of the other four
(4) Councilmanic Districts pursuant to the 2000 Census. [Section 301 of Article III of the Charter of the Town of Hurlock, Dorchester
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments. Effective Date September 25, 2001]
Annexation Resolution No. 2001-4 The Resolution of the Mayor and Council of the Town of Hurlock, Maryland,
proposing the annexation to the Town of Hurlock, Maryland, of certain areas situate
to and adjoining the present corporate limits to the Town of Hurlock, Maryland,
witnesseth:
