This Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Chestertown, Maryland is adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland for the
purpose of revising and amending the Municipal Corporation Charter of Chestertown,
Maryland.
[Section C6-21 of Article VI of the Charter of the Town of Chestertown, Kent
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), amended.
Effective Date March 27, 2001]

This Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Chestertown, Maryland is adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland for the
purpose of revising and amending the Municipal Corporation Charter of Chestertown,
Maryland to revise the dates on which municipal elections are held,
[Section C5-7 of Article V of the Charter of the Town of Chestertown, Kent
County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
Charters (1990 Replacement Edition and 2000 Supplement), repealed and reenacted,
with amendments.
