such a license or the possibility of such licensee having the license transferred to a
similar type of business establishment. Discount houses do not include licensees who
sell at discount prices.
(j) (1) This subsection applies only in Worcester County.
(7) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS SECTION, A
CLASS A BEER LICENSE, BEER AND WINE LICENSE, OR WINE LICENSE MAY BE
GRANTED, TRANSFERRED, OR ISSUED TO, OR FOR USE IN CONJUNCTION WITH, OR
UPON THE PREMISES OF ANY BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT OF THE TYPE COMMONLY
KNOWN AS A CHAIN STORE.
(7) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF THIS SECTION, THE
WORCESTER COUNTY BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS MAY RENEW A CLASS A
BEER LICENSE, BEER AND WINE LICENSE. OR WINE LICENSE ISSUED PRIOR TO
JANUARY 1, 2002.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2002.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency
measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health or safety,
has been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect from
the date it is enacted.

AN ACT concerning
Business Occupations and Professions - Real Estate Salespersons and
Associate Real Estate Brokers - Use of Trade Name
FOR the purpose of prohibiting licensed real estate salespersons and licensed
associate real estate brokers from advertising unless certain requirements
relating to the inclusion of certain information in the advertisement are met;
requiring licensed real estate salespersons and licensed associate real estate
brokers to include certain information on certain advertising; permitting
authorizing licensed real estate salespersons and licensed associate real estate
brokers to. provide real estate brokerage services under certain circumstances;
permitting authorizing licensed real estate salespersons and licensed associate
real estate brokers to add a trade name on a license certificate and pocket card
under certain circumstances; requiring a license certificate and pocket card to
display certain information; providing for the denial, suspension, or revocation
of a license or reprimand of a licensee under certain circumstances; defining
