(iv) The individual failed to sign the oath on the provisional ballot envelope; (v) The individual received more than one ballot for the same election; or (vi) The local board determines that a provisional ballot is
intentionally marked with an identifying mark that is clearly evident and placed on
the ballot for the purpose of identifying the ballot. (D) (1) WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER ANY ELECTION, AN INDIVIDUAL WHO VOTED
BY PROVISIONAL BALLOT MAY OBTAIN REQUEST CONFIRMATION FROM THE LOCAL
ELECTION BOARD THAT THE BALLOT CAST SUBMITTED BY THE INDIVIDUAL IS
EITHER ACCEPTED OR REJECTED BY THE LOCAL ELECTION BOARD. (2) UPON RECEIVING A REQUEST UNDER PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS
SUBSECTION, THE LOCAL ELECTION BOARD IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE
CONFIRMATION THAT THE INDIVIDUAL'S BALLOT IS EITHER ACCEPTED OR
REJECTED. (3) IF THE BALLOT IS REJECTED, AT THE REQUEST OF THE INDIVIDUAL
THE LOCAL ELECTION BOARD SHALL STATE IN WRITING THE BASIS FOR REJECTING
THE BALLOT. SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 2 of this Act
shall take effect October 1, 2002 on the taking effect of Chapter 291 (S.B. 1) of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 2002. It shall remain effective until the taking effect
of Section 2 of this Act.
If Section 2 of this Act takes effect, Section 1 of this Act shall
be abrogated and of no further force and effect. SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to the
provisions of Section 3 of this Act, this Act shall take effect January 1, 2003 July 1,
2002. Approved May 16, 2002.

(House Bill 874) AN ACT concerning Harford County - Alcoholic Beverages - Stadium License - Sale of Liquor FOR the purpose of expanding the scope of the Harford County stadium alcoholic
beverages license to include the sale of liquor under certain circumstances;
expanding the scope of the individuals and entities to whom the stadium license
may be issued; defining certain terms; setting forth certain limitations with
respect to where liquor may be served during baseball games, the kinds of
containers that alcoholic beverages must be served in, and the kinds of
