MK02.02 Addictions Treatment Services
Provided that Baltimore City shall submit
to the budget committees by December 1,
2002, a report indicating that local
funding for substance abuse treatment,
exclusive of State or federal funds, will
total no less than $1,250.000 in fiscal
2003.
It is the intent of the General Assembly that
the Governor restore full funding for
substance abuse treatment in Baltimore
City in fiscal 2004 to the extent that funds
are available.
Further provided that the Department of
Health and Mental Hygiene may not
award funding to Baltimore City from the
Substance Abuse Treatment Outcomes
Partnership Fund in fiscal 2003.
It is the intent of the General Assembly that
the Governor, consistent with statute,
include full funding for the Substance
Abuse Treatment Outcomes Partnership
in the fiscal 2004 allowance.
