(House Bill 1238)
AN ACT concerning
Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis - Commissioners
FOR the purpose of increasing the number of Commissioners serving on the Housing
Authority of the City of Annapolis; providing for the qualifications of certain
Commissioners; staggering the terms of Commissioners; authorizing the
Housing Authority to remove the Executive Director of the Housing Authority by
the affirmative vote of a certain number of Commissioners; providing for the
expiration of the terms of certain Commissioners; and generally relating to the
Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 44A - Housing Authorities
10-102.
(a) The Housing Authority of the City of Annapolis constitutes a public body
corporate and politic, exercising public and essential governmental functions, and
having all the powers necessary or convenient to carry out the provisions and
purposes of this article.
(b) (1) The Authority has [5] 9 7 Commissioners appointed by the Mayor
and exercising the powers and duties set forth in this article.
