1. A statement or evidence that neither the applicant nor any
of its owners currently owes any State or federal taxes that were not paid when [due]
DUE; or
2. If the applicant or any of its owners currently owe any
State or federal taxes that were not paid when due, evidence that the taxpayer:
A. Will have paid the taxes in full before the anticipated time
of closing for any financial assistance to be provided under this subtitle;
B. Is in compliance with a repayment schedule approved by
the taxing authority; or
C. Is disputing the taxes in good faith and through
appropriate channels;

(w) (1) "Person" [has the meaning stated in Article 83A, § 6-402(m) of the
Annotated Code of Maryland] MEANS ANY NATURAL PERSON, COMPANY, FIRM,
COOPERATIVE, PARTNERSHIP, CORPORATION, ASSOCIATION, CONSORTIUM,
UNINCORPORATED ORGANIZATION, TRUST, ESTATE, OR ENTITY ORGANIZED FOR A
COMMON BUSINESS PURPOSE for the purpose of providing financial assistance for an
energy conservation project or a solar energy project.
(2) "PERSON" INCLUDES A FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL GOVERNMENT
AND AN AGENCY OR INSTRUMENTALITY OF THOSE GOVERNMENTS FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR AN ENERGY CONSERVATION
PROJECT OR A SOLAR ENERGY PROJECT.
