AN ACT concerning
Allegany County - Alcoholic Beverages - Sunday Sales Permits
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of License Commissioners for Allegany
County to issue a 2-day Sunday sales permit to certain holders of alcoholic
beverages licenses; providing that applicants for the permit need not have
kitchen facilities on the premises; authorizing a permit holder to sell certain
alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises on a certain number of
Sundays in a year; specifying a certain fee and hours of sale; and generally
relating to Sunday sales of alcoholic beverages in Allegany County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
11-501.
(C) (1) IN ALLEGANY COUNTY, THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS
MAY ISSUE A 2-DAY SUNDAY SALES PERMIT TO A HOLDER OF ANY ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES LICENSE OTHER THAN A CLASS A LICENSE.
(2) AN APPLICANT FOR A 2-DAY SUNDAY SALES PERMIT NEED NOT HAVE
KITCHEN FACILITIES ON THE LICENSED PREMISES.
(3) A 2-DAY SUNDAY SALES PERMIT AUTHORIZES THE HOLDER TO SELL
BEER, WINE, AND LIQUOR FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES ON NOT MORE
THAN TWO SUNDAYS IN A YEAR BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 1 P.M. SUNDAY AND 2 A.M.
THE FOLLOWING MONDAY.
(4) THE PERMIT FEE IS $50 FOR EACH TIME THE PERMIT IS USED.
