AN ACT concerning
Land Preservation - Imminently Threatened Farm Preservation Program
FOR the purpose of providing that county agricultural easements shall be permanent;
altering the valuation methods for easement purchases; requiring the county to
establish certain application deadlines; altering certain conditions relating to
offers for purchases of easements; altering certain conditions with regard to use
of certain land on which the county has purchased an easement; repealing
certain conditions under which land under an easement may be purchased or
condemned; clarifying the authority of the department to adopt regulations;
establishing an Imminently Threatened Farm Preservation Program;
establishing criteria for participation in the program; providing for application
to participate in the program; providing for review and decision on applications
to participate in the program; requiring a resolution under the program and
certain conditions attached to the purchase contract; defining certain terms;
making certain stylistic changes; providing for the application of this Act; and
generally relating to land preservation in the county.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments
Sections 14-450, 14-451(a) and (c)(3), 14-456, 14-459, 14-460(a) through (g),
14-461(a) and (b)(1)h, and (b)(2), (3), (4), and (5) and 14-462

AN ACT concerning
Baltimore County Code, 1998 - Twenty First Enactment
FOR the purpose of enacting the Baltimore County Code, 1998 and adding one article
to the Baltimore County Code, to be designated and known as "Article 33.
Environmental Protection and Resource Management", and Article 15. Title 13.
"Stormwater Management Fund" to revise, restate, and recodify the laws of the
County relating and pertaining to the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area, Protection
of water quality, streams, wetlands and floodplains, stormwater management,
Excavations, grading, sediment control, and forest management, Forest
conservation, and Storage of petroleum products and hazardous substances;
altering or clarifying certain penalties; defining certain terms; providing for the
