A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF DENTON AMENDING SECTION C5-2 OF
THE TOWN CHARTER TO REQUIRE THAT ALL QUALIFIED VOTERS BE
REGISTERED WITH THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS SUPERVISORS FOR
CAROLINE COUNTY AND REPEALING SECTION C5-7 RELATING TO
SEPARATE VOTER REGISTRATION BY THE TOWN

[Section C5-2 of the Charter of the Town of Denton, Caroline County, as found in
the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 2002 Supplement), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

Section C5-7 of the Charter of the Town of Denton, Caroline County, as found in
the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990
Replacement Edition and 2002 Supplement), repealed.

Resolution No. 624

A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF DENTON AMENDING SECTION C6-15 OF
THE TOWN CHARTER TO PROVIDE THAT OVERDUE TAXES SHALL BEAR
INTEREST WHILE IN ARREARS AT THE INTEREST RATE SET ANNUALLY BY
CAROLINE COUNTY

THE TOWN CHARTER TO PERMIT THE TOWN TO BORROW MONEY AND TO
EVIDENCE THE BORROWING BY THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS, NOTES OR
OTHER EVIDENCE OF INDEBTEDNESS, AND TO EXEMPT TOWN
BORROWING FROM ARTICLE 31 SECTIONS 9-11 OF THE MARYLAND CODE
