7-206.1.
(a) (1) AN INDIVIDUAL HONORABLY DISCHARGED FROM MILITARY SERVICE
MAY, APPLY TO OBTAIN A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA IF THE INDIVIDUAL WITHDREW
FROM A REGULAR FULL-TIME PUBLIC OR PRIVATE SCHOOL ACCREDITED. BY THE
STATE BOARD DURING THE INDIVIDUAL'S JUNIOR OR SENIOR YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL
TO ENLIST IN THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES DURING WORLD WAR II.
(2) An individual honorably discharged from military service may apply
to obtain a high school diploma if the individual withdrew from a regular full-time
public or private HIGH school accredited by the State Board during the individual's
senior year in high school to enlist in the armed forces of the United States during
[World War II or] the Korean Conflict.
(b) To obtain a high school diploma under subsection (a) of this section, the
individual shall apply to the county board in the county where the individual resides
or where the school from which the individual withdrew was located.
(c) Each county board shall adopt rules and regulations to establish
procedures for awarding diplomas under this section.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency
measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health or safety,
has been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all the members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect from
the date it is enacted.

AN ACT concerning
Local Fire and Police Retirement System - Reemployment of Retirees
FOR the purpose of exempting from a certain offset of an allowance certain retirees of
the Local Fire and Police Retirement System who are reemployed by certain
employers; altering certain requirements for the reemployment of certain
retirees of the Local Fire and Police Retirement System; and generally relating
to the reemployment of retirees of the Local Fire and Police Retirement System.
