grant in the total principal amount of $200,000, to the Board of
Directors of the Melwood Horticultural Training Center, Inc. for
the development of 10 acres of land adjoining the Melwood
property on Dower House Road in Upper Marlboro, including

the construction and capital equipping of a new grounds
maintenance, storage, and repair facility, as well as other site

improvements (Prince George's County).......................................

(AJ) Mount Olive Community Life Center. Provide a grant equal to
the lesser of (i) $300,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund

provided, to the Board of Directors of the Mount Olive
Community Development Corporation, Inc. for the acquisition,
design, construction, and capital equipping of the Mount Olive

Community Life Center to provide community outreach,
entrepreneurial and business development services, and
employment and computer technology training, located in
Annapolis, subject to the requirement that the grantee grant
and convey an historic easement to the Maryland Historical

Trust. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 1(5) of this
Act, the matching fund may include real property, in kind
contributions, or funds expended prior to the effective date of
this Act (Anne Arundel County)

(AK) Old Schoolhouse Redevelopment. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $100,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of the Denton Development

Corporation, Inc. for the acquisition, planning, design,
construction, repair, renovation, and reconstruction of the old
schoolhouse property located on Franklin Street in Denton for
use as a small business facility to promote startup businesses
;
subject to the requirement that the grantee grant and convey an
historic easement to the Maryland Historical Trust.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 1(5) of this Act, the
matching fund may include real property or funds expended
prior to the effective date of this Act (Caroline County)

(AL) Our House Youth Home. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of
(i)
$200,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of Our House Youth Home, Inc. for
renovation and capital equipping of Mellwood Farm to be used

as a residential training facility, located in Olney, subject to the
requirement that the grantee grant and convey an historic

easement to the Maryland Historical Trust (Montgomery
County)............................................................................................

(AM) Maryland Fire Rescue Services Memorial Sculpture. Provide a
grant equal to the lesser of (i) $200,000 or (ii) the amount of the
matching fund provided, to the Board of Directors of the
Maryland Fire Rescue Services Memorial Foundation, Inc. for
