Provide a grant to the County Executive and County Council of
Montgomery County for the design, construction, renovation,
and capital equipping of a portion of the new Rockville branch
library for a Science, Cultural and Business Resource Center

(W) State Capital Emergency Management Project. Provide a grant
to the City of Annapolis to assist in the renovation and
expansion of the Annapolis Emergency Operations Center.
Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund
may include funds expended prior to the effective date of this

(X) Strathmore Hall Performing Arts Center. Provide a grant to the
County Executive and County Council of Montgomery County to
assist in the construction and capital equipping of a multi-use
performing arts center and educational facility on the grounds
of the Strathmore Hall in Bethesda, subject to the requirement
that the grantee provide an equal and matching fund for this
purpose (Montgomery County)......................................................
(Y) Walters Art Gallery. Provide a grant to the Board of Trustees of
the Walters Art Gallery to assist in the acquisition, design,
construction, and capital equipping of a building and parking
garage. Notwithstanding Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching
fund may include funds expended prior to the effective date of

(Z) YMCA of Central Maryland. Provide a grant to the Board of
Directors of the YMCA of Central Maryland, Inc. - Howard
County Branch to assist in the design, construction, and capital

ZB02 LOCAL JAILS AND DETENTION CENTERS
(A) Baltimore County Detention Center. Provide a grant to the
County Executive and County Council of Baltimore County to
assist in the expansion and renovation of the Baltimore County
Detention Center, subject to the requirement that the grantee
provide an equal and matching fund for this purpose.
