services at the Baltimore City Detention
Center for adult inmates who meet
specified criteria.

passage of this budget to supplement the
appropriation for fiscal year 2003 to
provide funds for inmate food service costs
at various correctional institutions, due to
an increase in the inmate population and
the cost per meal. This appropriation
shall be allocated among the various
correctional institutions by approved
budget amendment.
