provide funds for inmate food service costs
at various correctional institutions due to
an increase in the inmate population and
the cost per meal. This appropriation
shall be allocated among the various

passage of this budget to supplement the
appropriation for fiscal year 2003 to
provide funds for reactivation of a 92-bed
housing unit known as "B" Cottage at the
Maryland Correctional Institution for
Women, due to population pressures at
the Baltimore City Detention Center.
