(b) Notwithstanding any other law of the State effective on or before June 30, (1) the restrictions imposed on employees of a LOCAL board of DRAFTER'S NOTE: Error: Misnomer in § 2-304(b)(l) of the State Personnel and Pensions Occurred: As a result of an administratively changed board name arising 21-304. (b) (3) For the purpose of making the determinations required under this (i) the Employees' Retirement System, the Employees' Pension (d) (1) Beginning July 1, 2001, each year the Board of Trustees shall set [(1)] (I) all unfunded liabilities or surpluses accrued as of June 30, 2000, [(2)] (II) any new unfunded liabilities or surpluses that have accrued [(i)] 1. experience gains and losses; [(ii)] 2. the effect of changes in actuarial assumptions; and [(iii)] 3. the effect of legislation effective on or after July 1, 2001. [(3)] (2) If the accrued liability is increased by legislation that provides (i) July 1, 1997 for legislation effective June 1, 1996; and (ii) July 1, 1998 for legislation effective June 1, 1997.
