DH01.05 State Operations

The Military Department shall submit a
report to the budget committees by
December 1, 2000, that addresses the
following issues:
(1) Those costs for operating the veterans'
honor guard program for which the
federal government will reimburse the
(2) Those costs required by Maryland
statute for which the federal
government will not reimburse the
State;
(3) The percentage of State general funds
reimbursed by the federal government:
and
(4) The date when reimbursement of State
costs by the U.S. Department of
Defense is received.

Funds are appropriated in the Executive
Department - Boards, Commissions and
Offices budget to pay for services provided
by this program. Authorization is hereby
granted to use these receipts as special
funds for operating expenses in this
