funds are released.
Further provided that $2,755,000 of this
appropriation, made available for
planning costs for the Center for
Advanced Research in Biotechnology may
not be expended until the Department of
Budget and Management approves Part I
of the program plan and a Department of
General Services cost estimate based on
the approved program plan has been
submitted to the budget committees for
review and comment, or 45 days have
elapsed from the date the committees
receive the cost estimate.
Further provided that $697,000 of this
appropriation, made available for
planning costs of the Hagerstown
Educational Center shall not be expended
until the University System of Maryland
Headquarters submits an approved
program plan to the budget committees.
The committees shall have 45 days to
review and comment on the program plan.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this
Act, authorization for the following State
capital projects is hereby reduced by the
following amounts:
University of Maryland, Eastern Shore
Renovate Waters Dining Hall and
Somerset Hall.................................475,000
