1. THE ANNUAL SALARY OF THE STATE'S ATTORNEY FOR
THE CALENDAR YEAR 2003 SHALL BE EQUAL TO THE SALARY OF A CIRCUIT JUDGE OF
THE EIGHT JUDICIAL CIRCUITS AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2002.
2. THE ANNUAL SALARY OF THE STATE'S ATTORNEY FOR
THE CALENDAR YEAR 2004 AND FOR EACH SUBSEQUENT CALENDAR YEAR
THEREAFTER SHALL BE INCREASED BY 3 PERCENT OVER THE SALARY OF THE
STATE'S ATTORNEY FOR THE PREVIOUS CALENDAR YEAR
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, pursuant to Article III,
Section 35 of the Constitution of Maryland, this Act may not be construed to extend or
apply to the salary or compensation of the State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County
in office on the effective date of this Act, but the provisions of this Act concerning the
salary or compensation of the State's Attorney for Anne Arundel County shall take
effect at the beginning of the next following term of office.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002 January 1, 2003.

AN ACT concerning
Pharmacies - Record Logs
FOR the purpose of authorizing a pharmacy to maintain record logs of prescriptions
requested to be filled or refilled by a patient; requiring a pharmacy to keep a
patient's Social Security number confidential; prohibiting a pharmacy from
listing a patient's Social Security number on certain information in certain
record logs; and generally relating to record logs of pharmacies.
