AN EMERGENCY ACT to:
(1) require certain notice to the President of the County Council when the
County Executive declares a state of emergency;
(2) amend the period during which a state of emergency is effective without
Council action:

(3) require certain notification and reports by the Executive to the Council
during and after certain emergency situations; and
[[(2)]] (4) clarify and modernize the provisions of law governing declarations of
emergency.
